Are you surprised with the terrible calls?!?!?! (Jeff Triplette Tribute)

Not surprised with the terrible officiating of the game.....after all it was Jeff Triplette

On December 19, 1999, Triplette accidentally hit the Cleveland Brown's OrlandoBrown in the eye with a penalty flag weighed with ball bearings.

Peyton Manning is a frequent user of the fake spike, and "sold it" so well in a 2001 game against New Orleans that Triplette blew the whistle to stop the play, costing the Colts a possible touchdown

Not to harp on the calls but it would have been a much better game had it been called consistent and evenly.

He is the worst ref in the NFL HANDS DOWN! No question about it. THE WORST!

I am never one to blame refs, wont blame them for the Packer game, but there is no question that Triplette is the worst ref far and away in the league.

It would be great for him to be fired but sadly he takes "bribes" from the NFL to fix games.

Terrible game by officiating but I think this conspiracy of the refs wanting GB to win is ridiculous and ppl need to get over it. We've also been helped by a few calls this year....tough loss and some very Ridiculous calls but what's done is done....

I don't think this will be the case when we whop Dallas' a## next week.

Too bad such a wonderfully contested game is marred by calls that, at best, were highly questionable.

[/quote]Thanks for the compilation. That is quite a pitiful body of work. I remember the blown calls but forgot that it was the same guy behind all of them. At the end of the day however, it isn't Triplette's fault, it is the commissioner's office fault since they fail to take him out of the action. He is doing his best, which is pathetic (he is simply an incompetent fool)however the head of officials looks the other way. That one is on the NFL.
No one remembers who came in second.

He and his crew are horrible. If they get a playoff game the NFL needs to look again at how they assign refs.
