    Diehl Restructures contract

    </p>[/quote]Great! Don't understand the Cap and the guaranteed part. So question is, if his base went from 4.2 to 1.2 wouldn't that be 3m in Cap space instead of 1.5m?

    I have no clue how the math works with the cap space haha. it's like black magic to me.

    The 3mil shaven gets divided evenly amongst the remaining years. He has two years left. So half applies this year, half applies next.

    Okay. Now that makes sense. So in case of Eli going from 10m down to 1m the 9m saved got spread over the remaining yrs..ok so he saved us about 2m in Cap space nut it will add 2m to what it would of been next yr.

    So all in all is it because we do so much restructuring that we get in so much Cap trouble every yr by deferring so much salary it hurts us in long run
