That's BS. They surely have know from their existence on day 1 that there were different shipping rates applicable to different locations. It should be like automatic that it gives you the correct rate for wherever you live.
If you're mailing to me from Canada I expect a higher rate, so just let me know what it is when I'm checking out and I can make a decsion on the spot.
