    Oh man I don't even know where to begin, I don't cook but we have so many side dishes
    that I barely have room for the turkey. It happens to me every year! I stuff my face with the
    side dishes....

Sometimes I will marinate the turkey the day before in lemon juice, maple syrup, shallots, white wine and garlic.

    Good side dishes for turkey include:

    cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and rolls.

    I also heard that putting beer on the inside of a turkey makes it taste good, but you might want to double check on that.

    sides, garlic mashed potato's, start off with butternut squash soup. Make my cranberies with bourbon and orange peel. I used to make a brussel sprout dish with red grapes.

    I have the recipe for that, except it's for chicken. I have no idea how it works but I've
    heard it was good too....

    [/quote]you prop the chicken up with a can of beer (top cut off) on top of it. It's okay.

    Chicken, that's right.

    I think the flavor from the beer turns to steam and adds some more flavor to the meat. And the alcohol just burns off, leaving none left.
