UPDATE, 9:10 p.m.: Based on the lack of movement in
the bullpen, Torre seemed to want to get 8 out of Wang then go to
Rivera. But it’s not working out that way.</p>



UPDATE, 9:23: The tarp is on the field. Back with more info as I get it.</p>



UPDATE, 9:34 p.m.: Tarp off the field. We should be starting again sometime soon.</p>



UPDATE, 9:39 p.m.: About to get back underway. Mike Myers on the mound.</p>



UPDATE, 10:02 p.m.: What a circus. Now the rain is back and the Yankees lead 8-6. Nice job, John Parish. Robert Parish would have been better.</p>

I’ve had a few people e-mail me saying the Yankees don’t show enough
fight. They showed some fight there. You see Jeter slap his hands when
he got to second base? Give ‘em this, they ain’t quitting.</p>



Just FYI, under the new rules the game would be suspended and picked up from the point it was stopped.</p>

Of course Jeter's gonna slap his hands, who else? He's one of the few that always comes to play!!
He's a given, he's not the player I want to see fight, it's the other damn players!!

So wait, if they suspend the game for how long? The Yanks have to play them on another day
and start on the 8th inning? LOL...what about the crowd? Everyone's going to get together for 2 innings?? I don't get it!!!!!

Jeter, Posada, Arod, Matsui, Wang, Andy, Clemens, Mo

Second Rate
Cano, Melky, Damon, Bobby Bouchea, Andy Philips
Mussina, Myers, Cairo

Third Rate
Nieves, Nieves, Nieves.....the rest of the pitchers....

I love Jeter....did you hear on the Michael Kay show he was talking about how it was Derek's birthday the other day.....we lost....and going back to the hotel some lady was like happy birthday.... did you have a good day...and he was like all sad and his head was down and said no cuz the yanks lost....aawww! []

They probably have another series against Balt coming up.....maybe before that game finish this one? I have no idea...maybe they can get this game in later......

Yes it was in the elevator. That's classic Derek. And that's stupid of her to ask him all giddy how his
birthday was!!!? But you see, he has 4 rings, he knows how to win, these other players don't.

I am starting to see that they are trying to ride on past history. Suit up with the pinstripes and you're
suddenly a winner...I don't think so....

You don't have YES but every year they have a commercial that ends with Yankees Pride, Power...Pinstripes...

They have NOT SHOWN that at all this season yet!!!
