I'm kind of regretting letting Demps go. He may not be the best, but Butler sux something awful.

Oh he's talking about Britney Spears.......
    [/quote]

So last night was the crowning moment in the spectacular return of Britney Spears. And the world has fallen in love all over again. The AP said:

As in most train wrecks, it was hard to focus on just one thing as the Britney Spears disaster unfolded. There was just so much that went wrong. Out-of-synch lip-synching. Lethargic movements that seemed choreographed by a dance instructor for a nursing home. The paunch in place of Spears' once-taut belly. At times she just stopped singing altogether, as if even she knew nothing could save her performance.

Keep in mind, that wasn't an editorial piece, that was a news piece. That was the AP reporting facts. And there's way more. The New York Post said:

...why was Britney Spears' totally lame, pathetically lip-synched Video Music Awards performance at the Palms Casino last night allowed to be seen by the rest of the world? Spears was stuffed into a spangled bra and hot pants and jiggled like Jell-O as she sleepwalked through the song. She didn't seem to care that she danced like she had a pantload, that her lips weren't synched with the song, and that the tune isn't all that great.

And the New York Daily News said:

Glassy-eyed and out of step, Britney seemed lost in a sea of pole dancers and overmuscled male models who groped her so much she wasn't even mouthing the words by the time her number ended. Cuts to the audience revealed fellow artists rolling their eyes. 50 Cent looked like he might have just thrown up in his mouth, and Rihanna was flat-out laughing to a table guest.

Unbelievably, that may all be an understatement. Britney looked like some 19-year-old who has to strip for money but instead just shuffles back and forth on stage and cries. And this is all 100 percent her fault. It was her idea to wear clothes that didn't even remotely fit and then try a dance number in 12 inch heels. MTV might as well as put a baby horse on a skate board and pushed it across the stage. I've done more electrifying dance moves than this while walking on hot sand.

Everything that happened with Britney last night was perfect. That is exactly how I thought
it was going to happen...the only difference is that she didn't trip...

After the Giants game, you just HAVE to enjoy the Britney train wreck, it's the only
thing that made me feel better..

As for BJ, last year he always seemed to get injured in the LITTLE play time that he got in.
He was able to recover because he didn't play all that much.

As the GO TO guy now, within the first game he's out already. He's a powerful back, but just
doesn't seem like a smart player.

This Giants team is off to a very bad start......

weird, tried to quote you AG and it wouldn't let me....

I don't see losing BJ as that big of a deal, in retrospect, we have our most depth at RB (Droughns, Ward, Bradshaw) and Ward looked really good yesterday.

Losing Osi will be huge. It is time to end the Kiwi experiment, and bench Butler. Butler was

Maybe you have reached your quoting limit. hahaha...

Don't jump on the Ward bandwagon just yet. Remember what we said, 3 weeks MAX.
You just see, he has never had to start and take the rigorous punishment that Tiki had.

Obviously BJ was not able to. I don't mean to sound so pessimistic about our own team but
you know what it is frustrating, every season it's the same thing with this team.

Lots of potential, lots of injury bugs...

The writing was on the wall in preseason when players went down like flies...

Even Pennington is hurt....must be the NY water....

    Britney Spears
disastrous performance Sunday night at MTV’s Video Music Awards was bad
for her — and worse for a lot of other people in Hollywood.

There will be a lot of finger-pointing Monday as Spears’ flabby, bloated, incoherent showing is dissected over and over.

But the real person to blame has to be Spears’ newish manager, Jeff Kwatinetz of The Firm.

Kwatinetz has already had a very bad year, nearly killing the career of original “American Idol” star Kelly Clarkson by letting her — or rather encouraging her — to buck the advice of Clive Davis and release a terrible album against his wishes.

    What
followed was a series of public embarrassments including the
cancellation of Clarkson’s tour and her firing of Kwatinetz. The album,
"My December," went on to sell a fraction of the number Clarkson had
    sold previously.

    Quotes about Britney, enjoy......
    “Her performance was really
bad. She couldn’t even lip-synch. It’s tragic! Britney needs to give it
up,” said Mara Yanoshik, 21, of New York.

“I can’t wait to read what
all the weeklies have too say … something is so wrong with her. What
was she thinking, wanting to wear that little outfit? That was a
turn-off. Gross,” said Holly Wehlan-Brown, 17, of Ohio.

    “She
wasn’t exactly talented in the first place. Hopefully now she’ll go
hide somewhere and we can focus on real news,” said Adam Jones, 38, of
    New York.

“Oh yeah, I loved it — we watched it
over and over. Haven’t laughed that hard in ages. I don’t want to her
to give up — that would be boring," said Ross Elliot, 23, of California.

    “I
have no sympathy for her — she was way bad. She didn’t even try — my
dog could have done better,” said Nicola Wu, 20, of California.

    “What
happened to her hair? Those weaves were horrible. She looked so scared,
the poor thing, she seems to lack so much confidence and so much
pressure was put on her over this … She’s still got it in her to be a
good performer, the song is fun and catchy,” said Kylie Kothari, 34, of Nevada.

    “She
was having an out-of-body experience I think. I don’t think Brit was
really there at all. Someone has taken our Spears!” said Joe Rizeri,
    25, of Florida.

“It’s no wonder Criss Angel was
a disappearing act. He didn’t want to be associated with that …that
comedy act. Goodbye, Britney,” said Davina Jones, 21, of Maryland.

    “I
wanted to cry for her. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. MTV should
be ashamed of themselves for giving her the opening act, especially as
Chris Brown was unreal,” said Lisa Jackson, 25, of New Jersey.

    “I
honestly don't think it was as awful as everyone is saying — she just
seemed nervous. Yeah, she wasn’t tiny like she was as a teen, but she
looked hot for a mom with two young kids. I mean, she's gone through a
lot. People need to cut her some slack,” said Jill Bernett, 32,
    Australia.
