Ooooohhhh all this talk of LT has me thinking.......I should make a Whimpy sig!!
I def have to make a Tuckie Poo sig too..........

Here is PFT's take of the Hall stuff......eh.....

DEANGELO TO DA GIANTS?

With cornerback DeAngelo
Hall desperate to get out of Atlanta, the New York Giants might be the
    team to make it happen.

According to the Newark
Star-Ledger, the Giants are exploring the possibility of

sending the 31st overall pick in the 2008 draft to Atlanta for Hall.

The willingness of the
Falcons to trade Hall could be a sign that they'll target Patriots
cornerback Asante Samuel when free agency opens next week. New
Atlanta G.M. Tom Dimitroff was the director of college scouting in New
England before taking a job with the Falcons.

From the Giants'
perspective, the interest in Hall smacks of hubris. One of the
problems with the team has been an overabundance of loudmouths in the
locker room. Many believe that the retirement of Tiki Barber and
the disappearance of Jeremy Shockey following a broken leg were key
components in getting the rest of the guys on the same page.

Here's a thought -- why
don't the Giants just pursue Asante Samuel? Signing him won't cost
much more than it would to extend Hall, and the Giants would still have
    their first-round pick.

Besides, giving Samuel a
big-money deal would be fitting, given that it was his dropped
interception that opened the door for the Shawshank Reception.

    Yup.....Photoshop CS3 or something like that....lol
I am still home sick with this flu!

Is it the 30 day trial? CS3 is computer intensive. I am still using photoshop from 7 years ago!!!

Only because it does the job and when I open it, it takes about 2-3 seconds to open.

I tried CS3 and it took forever to load!!! I have no patience!!!

Well, I'll agree to disagree with you on our LT situation. And from what I read on the Hall link, We would have only given up two first rounds for either Trufant or Asomugha, both who have since been franchised. I think the article only states this years first round for Hall, which for me is a no brainer. I am now going to look around for more info on that possibilty. Finally, I have the utmost faith in Reese to do whats right for all our positions. Admittedly (sp?) I was def, questioning his release of Petitgout last year with no "visible" plan for LT besides the Diehl switch. JR is the man!
I absolutely trust JR!!!!

And LT went on IR real fast down in Tampa.....he knows who is dead weight....

haha, but from the other article, it sounds like JR thinks Hall actually has CB talent while Assante was only good because of New England's system.

I am hoping that Hall would come quietly and be a team player, who knows, that may not happen, especially if the Giants have a bad year...you are rolling the dice on him...

It would be nice if we had someone like Champ Bailey when he was younger...

We got another wind storm headed this way. Last one knocked power out for over a day to a week. [st]

I do think LT is an issue. Whimper was a project player, he at one time was a TE. I thought it read two first round picks, this year and next years... .I dunno if Hall is worth that. We will need to see, and how long is his contract good for? Diehl did okay, but he did have trouble with some speed rushers, and we were struggling to run the ball in the playoffs. Seubert remember lost his starting LG job to Diehl.....[]
You need to set yourself up with a backup generator of some sort!! I know whenever I buy my farm land I will get a backup generator....

If Eli isn't comfortable with his backside, he is not going to play well next season. LT needs to be addressed. Diehl should not play LT....

Perhaps Whimper just isn't talented? Or LT isn't his natural position? Look at how productive the rookies have played for us...Whimper could be another William Joseph, Sinorice Moss or Tim Carter..

At 24, we should get Hall for a good 5-7 years.....Ronde is still playing OK at 32-33?

So we can keep Hall till around 29-30...then release...
I have never heard Eli voice concern over his backside protection, although we probably wouldn't- for he is a class act. I am far from thinking he is one of the best LTs in the league, but I think he gets the job done. I, personally, woulnd't stress if he was our LT again next year. My primary concern for our team is our secondary, especially since we have such a viscious (sp)pass rush.
