i struggle with the conversions (we pay by litre, and in pounds!) but i think we would have been paying about $6.40 then. so i guess you'rs has gone up a greater percentage than ours. but still, we pay over twice what you pay! it's not fair! i can't wait to spend 3 months over there next year! it'll be like a cheap dream!

Morning all. Gas prices are $0.60 higher than a year ago....
That's funny you posted about gas prices, I was just going to do the same.

It's $3.59 here for regular in NY and $3.79 for premium.

When I got to CT, the premium is $3.99 so about 40 miles West from NY, gas prices are about 20 cents more....

This is really getting ridiculous we need to drive the value of our dollar back up....
It's over 4/gallon for premium right now. Do you know that for every gallon of gas, there is about .60 cents in taxes! Here on a lighter side, Emmit Smith's draft predictions.....

Seahawks defensive tackle Rocky Bernard displayed the aggression and pursuit (read he's an ahole) that's made him a key contributor to the reigning NFC West champions when he chased down his ex-girlfriend and the mother of one of his children and punched her in the face. he was arrested and is being investigated for domestic violence.

The former girlfriend and a friend said they saw Bernard, who turned 29 on Saturday, in an "altercation" with another woman at Ibiza, a club at 528 Second Ave. Bernard then walked toward the former girlfriend and punched her in the forehead with a closed fist, causing her head to strike a glass divider, according to a police report.

The victim, 22, and friend told police they ran to a car to get away. Bernard allegedly followed them as they shut the car doors and pounded the windows as they drove away, according to a police report.

Uncertain how far Bernard would pursue them, they drove to a "safe" location in South Seattle and called police about 2:15 a.m.

i guess that's why they call it belief, not fact. we'll find out one day i guess!
We certainly will. I am not religious by any means, but my faith is still in Jesus Christ and I try and follow Him wherever He takes me. I left the Christian religion years ago because of all the crap that is teached in the "churches" today.

Religion is a complete turn off. If only people REALLY knew of Jesus' love (including the religous ones) then we would see that the Lord would NEVER torture someone "forever" and "ever." There is actually no word for "forever" in the Hebrew or Greek language.

The scripture says that Jesus is the Savior of all men and that He is the Lamb of God who, "takes AWAY the SINS of the WORLD." And also, "every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord."

I used to be trenched in religion so that's why I understand your point. Just try and seek God for yourself and don't go by the crap and hypocricy that we have seen from the church (including me).
Wow, I could not have said it any better myself!!!

Although I grew up Christian, for the last 10-15 years I chose to believe in my own God.
I know there's a higher being out there, but I choose to live the "good" life and let Him select me if he feels I lived it the right way.

I don't beleive that a God that almighty, that powerful is that PETTY that he needs people to worship him and give up 10% of your salary, it all seems to cult-like....

My take on it is basically this....

At the end, will He accept me (someone that lived the good life without having it preached to me) or someone that goes to church every week and may not be good hearted....

If he chooses the guy that goes to church every week but is a punk the rest of the week, then that's a God I'm glad I didn't waste my time worshipping...
When Jesus died on the cross He accepted everyone (try telling that one to the religious people). HOWEVER, one must accept Him for the gift that He has given us. If I give my daughter a toy and she does not receive it, it's as if she never got it in the first place. One day, everyone will accept the Lord either in this realm or the next.

Again, I am not a Christian but it is still vital to know that Jesus is Lord and that He was the only one to live a life of absolute perfection, yet capable of sinning like any other bloke It is for this reason that we walk in His footsteps, one day walking in a place where we sin no more and the world can finally see what God's love really is!

morning all. long time no visit. anyway is anyone else getting raped by the gas companies? it's like 4 bucks on avg here....

I'm not to excited about the Draft. i HOPE we get some true LBs and no Tweeners or converted DEs. call me old school but i think a true LB is BETTER than a convert anyday!

i also hope we get some young Linemen, both Defensive interior and Offensive!!!

and another CB or two wouldn't be bad, since we had so many injuries last couple of seasons.

    but...we'll see.

I know gas is getting silly. I don't fill up but once every two weeks so this last fill up was a shock. 3.46 for regular, up from 3.10 two weeks ago. I don't mind though because at least the gas companies are still making record profits![:|]

Well I'm starting to really like the kid out of Arkansas State. I also think that a second round pick is too little for Shockey (being that he is a player we want to keep) especially in light that the Begals seem destined to shoot themselves in the foot over the Chad issue.
