Basically trolls are posters whose main goal is to ruffle the feathers of those around them. You just witnessed trolling...from the post above. He came here just to start an argument,and if you bite then they've accomplised their goal of pissing you off and drawing attention to themselves. </P>


Most go away if ignored. Others stay forever and continue daily (i.e. most of the posters outside of this thread). And their MO is attention. The worst thing you can do to a troll is to not respond to their threads. That way they fall off the front page. But it's hard sometimes.</P>
