So what, is he damaged goods? I remember a bunch of people here being high on him coming out of his draft class.

The colts just placed him on waivers after suffering his second ACL injury in as many year. Same knee both times.

We've had some luck over the last couple years with picking up some hurt offensive lineman to get a year or two out of them. Ijalana is 23. Still young, and with the proper medical and coaching staff might be able to have his career rejuvenated.

I like the idea of rehabbing the guy, but I believe this is the final year of his contract. We could probably just sign him in free agency to a similar contract during the off season. Picking him up now would get him acquainted with the team and medical staff, though.
