NY GIANTS' NEWS AND NOTES: EX-GIANTS IN THE HEADLINES

Excerpt: "There is not a whole lot of new information to discuss today when it comes to
the New York Giants.
Yet, we persist here at Big Blue View finding you interesting nuggets to
read.

We gave you some of the items from Ralph Vacchiano's Sirius XM Radio
interview with Giants GM Jerry Reese on Monday. Here is Vacchiano's

The expectations don't sound high for former Giant Steve Smith in
Philadelphia. Here is SB Nation's Turf
Show Time on the Smith signing
:

If healthy, Smith can be a good possession receiver for the Rams. He has good

70 percent the year before that. Smith was mostly an afterthought in
Philadelphia last season.

According to Thomas, Smith signed a one-year
deal with the Rams. A trial contract. Smith could be a nice addition, or he
could be another Mike
Sims-Walker
. There is no guarantee that he makes the final cut some
September.

It's been a long fall for Smith, especially if Turf Show Times is right that
Smith has to earn a roster spot in St. Louis." rEAD MORE...
