    My First Mock Draft

I went through CBS player rankings and came up with this list. I have a couple of variations in mind if players don't fall the way they're projected. I never thought I'd want a WR in round 1, but this kid, if available, is too talented to pass up.....let me know your thoughts!

    Mock Draft-

    1-

1- Stephen Hill- WR- GT http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...65/akiem-hicks

    2-Zerbie
    Sanders- Left Tackle- FSU http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...zebrie-sanders

3- Brandon Mosley- Right Tackle- Auburn http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...brandon-mosley

4a- Audie Cole- MLB- NCSU http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...213/audie-cole

4b- George Bryan- TE- NCSU http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...4/coby-fleener

5- Ryan Miller- OG- Colorado http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...26/ryan-miller

6- Akiem Hicks- DT- LSU http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...65/akiem-hicks

    7- Adonis
    Thomas- RB- Toledo http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p.../adonis-thomas

I have Mosely and Cole in my mock also. except one round later for each. IMO taking a WR in the first round makes little sense. We spent a 3 on Jernigan last year and he is in the front office's plan. You may be one of the many Jernigan doubters but that will change. The gmen will look for a WR to spell Nicks and Cruz. But they won't spend a 1 on it. Maybe Childs, White, or Mcnutt later on in the draft. I work with the brother of FSU WR coach Lawrence Dawsey - yep the former Giant, word is Zebrie is an athletic stud but has a lot of work to do to be ready for the NFL. Your Toledo pick has some promise but may go earlier.

    I like Mosely and Hicks.

I understand Zebrie Sanders but his poor Combine is cooling a lot of people on him.

I'm not a big Hill fan but that's a whole other debate.
I don't always root for the Cowboys but when I do I wear my pink Jessica Simpson edition Romo jersey. (yes I lost a bet)

Yea, I honestly don't know much about these guys, except for the NCSU players (NC State fan).

I don't want a WR in the 1st round....and I'm not a Jernigan hater. But, with these kids numbers and his potential, if he happened to fall to us in the first round i think JR would take a long hard look. The kid is big, huge wingspan, can jump real high and is good at catching the ball at its highest point, and can straight out fly (from GT where Calvin Johnson is from).

If we were to go after a WR, i'd rather go after one in Rd. 3-5. There's a kid from Florida International that is lightning in a bottle. He can return kicks too, so I'd be more than happy to draft him.

I just think our biggest need is OL and LB's. I'd be happy with 3 OL picks, 2 LB picks and 3 randoms......just my 2 cents.

    Appreciate the feedback!

NC State fan! Whatcha think about Andre Browns potential with us? Aside from the suspension thing? I was glad we drafted him , but then.................

Well, when we drafted him I was excited. I actually had him in my mock, in the rd we selected him.

As a player, the kid was damn good in college. He had a couple injuries, but had good hands out of the backfield, and was a good hard runner. Had surprising power.

I don't know what his status is going to be post-suspensions, but if he gets time I think he could be serviceable. If I remember correctly, the two off seasons he's had with us he looked pretty good. Now, however, I'm not expecting much.

That kid from FIU is T. Y. Hilton. A menace with the ball in his hands, running, recieving, PR and KR. I like him a lot.

Yea, that's him. He's pretty legit and could be a steal in the 4th/5th.

Again, I really don't want a WR in the 1st, but I have a feeling the kid from GT will be there, and if so I think JR will be intrigued.

Someone mentioned the OT from FSU is just athletic and not necessarily a good football player. Who are some good tackles and interior linemen that the Giants should target early. Obviously protecting Eli is priority #1, but i think a mauler of an interior lineman would do us wonders.

I don't really like Sanders in the 2nd round there are many other tackles I like better
