So is Goff even an option to be resigned anymore?

We have ample LBers so I'd assume Goff is out especially if he doesn't want the deal we offered him.

Haven't heard anything other than he had a few visits from other bottom feeder teams

Hes an option until he signs elsewhere.

There has to be a reason he hasent signed anywhere yet though, could be an injury issue

That's what I'm thinking.. very odd he's a pretty good LB for no one to even bite

Goff is a nonissue. The guy is very replaceable.

His injury has been reported as more serious than originally thought.

I do remember seeing a small snippet in a story when Rivers was signed. I'll see if I can drag it up, but no promises []

Edit: Can't seem to locate now. I think it was just part of a sentence in an article about the Rivers and it could well have been just the author's musing as to why the GIANTS seem to be not interested in Goff. I does seem safe to say Goff will probably not be back in a GIANTS' uniform this season.

i remember what ur referring to. it was a minor point. it was about how signing rivers and jr said boley played MLB in nickel packages and that they'll see if rivers or boley can play at mlb

Re: So is Goff even an option to be resigned anymore?

I'm not a big Goff guy, but I'll take him over Jones or Peysinger. I'm not done with either of those players, but I think that Goff has SOME value.

MLB's seem hard to find in a 4-3 D and while I like Blackburn more, I'd like Goff as depth.

And I do NOT like the idea of Boley play MLB -- let him stay at OLB which is what he excels at.
