Went to the Mohegan Sun Casino wearing my Giants Super Bowl Champions T shirt

A couple weeks ago I went to the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut wearing my Giants Super Champion T shirt. You should of seen the looks I got, if looks could kill I'd be dead. I was at ther craps table and thestickman said that we were lucky that's all, and the next time will be different. That's when I told him that luck had nothing to do with it and that we beat the Patriots the last three times we met them. So it's not luck but pure skill and better players. I also mentioned that Brady is getting old and should be thinking about retirement.......well you should have heard the bullsh*t from them. They said that Eli is a flash in the pan and couldn't shine Brady's shoes. My reply to that was.....three times Eli went up against Brady and out played him. They said that Eli was in love with himself and thinks he's the greatest QB that ever lived and he said so. I told them that at no time did Eli ever say that he was the greatest QB, all he said at the beginning of the season was that he considered himself in the same league as the top five QB's in the league, which I might add included Brady, and he proved it by going out and winning another Super Bowl as well as a new Corvette for being the game's most valuable player.
So I said in the words of the Giants coach Tom Coughlin........"talk is cheap, play the game".........We did and you guys lost now go cry on someone else shoulder.

Not a surprise that New England fans are giving us no credit again.

I live in Pats country and they all essentially agree that Eli is a super clutch QB and have great respect for him. A few even apologized to me for telling me in previous years that Eli sucked.

You must have run in to some bad apples. I don't think they represent most Pats fans. They were very bitter after SB 42, but they seem to have a great respect for Eli after 46.

Most Pats fans have developed a great respect and fear of Eli Manning.

Some of you guys are funny with these incidents where you are having angry exchanges with fans of other teams when you are not even at a game or a stadium. I have to think that: (a) you are doing something to provoke these exchanges; and/or (b) you are hanging out in the wrong places and/or with the wrong people.

Couldn't prove it to me that day. Everyone at that craps table felt that Eli was an egotist by saying what he did even though they heard a different version of what he actually said. As far as respect is concerned......well there might be some now after we beat their butts in a second Super Bowl but fear. Nah, they believe it was a fluke and some bad calls by the refs that gave us the win.

How can you say that I provoked an angry exchange? All, I did was walk up to a craps table, plopped my money down and got some chips and than proceeded to place my bets when the stickman noticed my shirt and gave some innocent needling. There was no angry exchange, there was just some good clean ribbing but when they said what they did about Eli stating that he said he was the best QB that ever lived, I took exception to that and wanted to set the record straight. I wouldn't of said anything if what they said about Eli was true. But it wasn't and I wanted to let them know that Eli never said that and he's not the type to go around bragging. His actions speak for themselves and he proved it in the Super Bowl.
There was no heated exchange whatsoever, just some good natured ball busting.

My suggestion is that fans that hang out at craps table may not represent the everyday fan.

And for the life of me (and I have tons of Pats fan friends) I have NEVER heard one of them suggest that Eli was "in love with himself". Its rediculous.

Maybe these going were down some money and had to vent.
