    Re: No more Pro Bowl?

Good move . . . to me, the Pro Bowl is unwatchable . . .

It is unwatchable. The game has become a joke. However, I can see why some guys don't want to be laying it all out on the line. Their teams probably tell them to play as little as possible. They should replace it with some type of fun competition or something.

The Pro Bowl would get heavy spectator draw if #1... It was moved to a later date, such as May or June
    and...
#2...It was moved and located around the country within the Lower 48...not somewhere most of us can't go.

I think the players would feel more inclined to play at a later point in the year and why not during the quietest part of the off-season? At the seasons end the players are burned out and could care less. I think it would increase off-season workout and minicamp attendance by these guys too!

I feel like the league is being hypocritical (what else is new). They appear that safety is their number one concern, but then they are critical of players for not playing 100% in a gimmicky, exhibition game? All they care about is money and the only reason they appear "concerned" about player safety, is because it is costing them money from these lawsuits. Scrap the game and just have a skills competition or something. Also, like hungrrrry said, have whatever all star event that they are doing in a part of the country that anyone could attend.

    God I hope so.

It was never really great but its become a flat joke. Should just be an induction ceremony, skills competition and highlight clips.
I don't always root for the Cowboys but when I do I wear my pink Jessica Simpson edition Romo jersey. (yes I lost a bet)

They should make a loser bowl, that way Sanchez could be the starting QB for that

The best things about baseball and basketball all star weeks is the skills competitions (especially when they have pick up games, old players, and celebrities).

Rex ryan the head coach? Screw it, just have the jets play one of the top high school teams in the country every year. Now THAT would get top ratings.

I think they should seriously make it a flag football game... no pads, no helmets. You aren't going to get hard hits anyway, so why not embrace it? It is a celebration of the player's achievements (and a vacation). Why should they pretend like it is the super bowl? They should also move it back to the week after the super bowl, so that the super bowl winners have a chance to gloat a bit. I would also like to see a skills competition.

Show class, be a Giants fan.
