Honestly, I think that Welker pass would have only led to a field goal to be 20-15 - if I recall correctly the Giants DBs were in place to stop him short of the end zone. Plus, it wasn't even a 3rd or 4th down pass. I think it would still have very much been a game.

Granted, a 24-15 lead as the result of a touchdown would have been probably insurmountable in such a low-scoring battle.

Anyway, I'm getting off topic.
