    Giant Weaknesses Turning Into Strengths

Last year we didn't think we had LBers, now we seem to have a Stable of veterans. Our TE position last year resembled a Lite Beer. With Bennit, Pascoe, The rookie, and possibly Ballard, we're more than ok. The O-Line was long in the tooth. With Beatty, Bass, Booth, Brewer ( Killer Bees ? ) Petrus and the two Rooks, we might be solid again.

Right now we have quantity, not quality. Bennett is a one year rental, Ballard we have no idea when will be back, Pascoe is eh, and the rook is real raw. At LB we have Rivers who may or may not work out, Boley is solid, JWill looks like he could be something but is still yet TBD, then backups Herz, Jones, Paysinger, Blackburn.... Not exactly the greatest of talent. Oline we may be forced to start Brewster at RT, if Locklear doesnt pan out. Hope Beatty is 100% for the LT spot, Diehl back at guard (Where he looked pretty bad last year), Baas center (who cant run block), and a solid Snee. Boothe and Petrus are solid backups IMO though.

I don't think you will see Ballard this year. I still have some doubts about our o-line. I did not think beatty played that well before he got hurt last year and Brewer was inactive for every game last year.

    Lite Beer LOL!!!!

But I am more optimistic than I was last year. We got a glimpse of what the OL depth could do. I don't envision them in Canton anytime soon but they were more than serviceable. And with Eli under center it makes their job a little bit easier.

People forget the year that we thought the world was coming to an end because Plax and Amani were gone. We had "no receivers".

We also lost Manningham, Smith, Moss, and Hixon, and we still have one of the best receiving corps in the league.
We need our coaches to assign playing time based on something other than player salary.

    [/quote]That
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

Kiwi moves back to DE with the Osi situation going on. Even if Osi stays, he is gone after the year. Tuck, Osi, JPP and Kiwi are the 4 DEs.
