Yeah, long contract disputes with rookies are probably a thing of the past. It is great. The idea of a guy who hasnt played a single down of football in the NFL holding out during training camp is a joke. This new rule should've been in effect years ago.</P>

Agreed, all rookies are playing for their second contract. You'll still see a few here and there but not like before.

According to Mac's Football Blog, Wilson's four-year contract is expected to be worth about $6.7 million with a signing bonus of $3.3 million.

Only 4 years? Should of locked him up for 5, he was a first rounder.</P>

Yeah, the CBA allows the teams to have a fifth year option on first round picks . . . . </P>
I believe that the option has to be exercised after the third year though (I might be wrong about that)</P>
