Could the surface of our indoor practice field be a cause for all these injuries?

It's seems like the past few years we have always been hit with injuries early in the preseason. Most experts will say "that's just football" but you have to wonder why we seem to get injured more than most teams. I know we've blamed everyone from Coughlin to the strength and conditions coach, but what if it's got more to do with the indoor practice field?

Did we have these injuries before the new indoor practice field was built? Thoughts ?

I believe even when the Giants were practicing at Farleigh-****inson there were still injuries and that was outside.

Some of these are freak injuries and some are probably conditioning after an off season.

The pat answer is that the Giants don't get more injured than any other team (yeah right) and that everyone has two players that go down with serious injuries by the 2nd OTA of the year (yeah right).

Not sure what the cause is but it needs to be addressed. If you older guys like me remember in our SB wins in 86/90 and all the seasons around them the giants were known for having one of the best strenth and conditioning programs in th NFL. We seemed to almost never get any severe injuries ever..
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

They need to go back and study whatever they were doing back then and duplicate it
