Andre Brown competing for the power back job

    Read this this morning:

"Andre Brown, who has bulked up to 240 pounds and who the Giants still seem enamored with."

I can see why the G-men are enamored with him. I hope he is a beast at 240!

I think Brown can be that bruising back we used to have in BJ. Then you have AB and Wilson as the shify ones and Scott maybe a little of both with great speed
Football has been very, very good to us.
In the midst of this losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

I really thought there would be a couple of guys that would have jumped on this with Martinek will be the power back...

    Dept Chart....

    1. AB

    2. Wilson/Brown

    3. Brown/Wilson

    4. Scott ( I dont see the Giants giving up on this kid yet)

    5. Ware ( Ware is prob alot higher on this chart as of now, but will drop)

    6. Joe M

FB = Hynoski and Pascoe at times

Brown won't even make the team this year.

I dunno. Tc has been very vocal about having that speed/power diversity dimension. If brownx at 240, with his jump cut style, he could be a bruiser.

Makes sense for him regardless. With the achilles injury, he prob realized speed isnt gonna be something he can rely on. Might as well bulk up and be a power type back.

He could surprise alot of us...

Bradshaw/wilson/brown n scott has a nice feel to it...suit up whichever makes more sense on gameday between brown n scott...

But browns gotta stay healthy if he hopes to make any impact, and hes struggled with that before so...

I'm leaning this way. If he couldn't break the lineup at a lighter weight I don't see him being successful as a different type of runner.
