Take The Outside Lanes Away, And RB Opponents Are " Dead Meat "

Keep Boley, Rivers, and Williams as our OLBs. How many times have we seen the running back slam into the middle of our line ( sometimes not even to the line of scrimmage ) get nowhere, only to bounce it left or right ( by the Hashmarks ) and get a first down or better ?

I agree! Speed rushers have been giving us so much trouble on the outside. How to you contain speed? With Speed!

I wouldn't mind seeing Boley in the middle.

Fair to say, it would be nice to see the Giants have a package that would include that kind of speed at LB.

    Thank god it's hockey season.

Speed at the LB position does matter, but the first step to stopping those kind of runs is containment from the DE's. They can't give up the edge.

“Basically just stay with your man,” cornerback Janoris Jenkins said. “Follow him everywhere you go. Even if he goes to the bathroom, follow him.”

Can't run wide on JPP's side he just takes 1 hand & slams them to the ground. He did that several times last season.
