Kinda funny that him and a lot of other notables can't find work. People like him and Owens and others teams don't want to touch with a ten foot poll..

He did make one of the most impt catches in giants history. I am forever grateful. But it's just the way he comes off. His attitude

I didn't know jobless men with families was so funny. And I understand nobody wanting Plax but Owens was decent with Cincy. If I was a team like Minnesota, Seattle or Arizona where the coaches are lameducks and you want to get a little national attention and get buzz for your fanbase, I would sign him. I feel as if, he's been humbled. Houston could use him to.
Any fool would know that athletes without control of their impulses do not support team goals. Imagine you are a head coach, come to work on Tuesday morning to find out that one of the guys you are depending on, went out the night before, left his wife and kid at home and shot himself with a gun that slipped down his pants.

I'm just surprised that so many teams actually understand that. Maybe there is hope for this league. I always thought that it was a competitive advantage that JR got it and so many others didn't.

No one remembers who came in second.

So you're saying a leapord can't shed it's spots?

Seemed like a team guy with the Jets last year, maybe that time in the shower set him straight!

[/quote]WellJoe, I do believe in redemption but for me the experience was just too painful, the 897 times he showed up late to meeting, the shutting down during training camp as a means to get a new deal, don't forget all of the baggage he collected in Pittsburgh. It is all a risk reward deal for me. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me five times shame on me. I just can't live with the thought that he bags us again. I wish him well and if I'm another team, I might take a chance because that would only be the first time fooled. Just me brother.

PS This one is complicated because I remember the run to the Super Bowl as well as anyone. Thatperfomance by Plax (not Plex)in Green Bay will live with me forever. He has a special place in my heart and my memory. I just can't bear the thought of getting bagged again. There are many, many other better options at this point in his career that give us a better chance for success.

Compared to Holmes, he was a team player, lol.
