CORNERBACK RATINGS: GIANTS CHECK IN AT # 11
"Our friends at SBNation.com have put together a list ranking <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2012/7/2/3127990/jets-ravens-nfl-cornerbacks">which
NFL teams have the league's best cornerbacks</a>. Let's discuss.
SBNation.com places the New York Giants No.
11 on its list of the league's 32 corrnerback groups. I have zero problem with
that, really. Corey Webster
is very good, but probably not a guy you would call a 'shutdown' corner. There
is reason to be optimistic about everyone else in the group, yet also questions
about each player.</p>
Look at the rest of the list, though. Do the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/philadelphia-eagles">Philadelphia
Eagles</a> really belong at No. 3, even with the writer admitting that the
Eagles secondary "underwhelmed" a season ago? How do you feel about the Dallas Cowboys being
No. 4?</p>
On the flip side, it's pretty hard to argue with the New York Jets at No.
1. Love them or hate them, you have to be willing to admit how good <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/1262/darrelle-revis">Darrelle
Revis</a> is. <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/2984/antonio-cromartie">Antonio
Cromartie</a> would be the best corner on a lot of teams around the league, as
well."
