Forget the Past, Live for the Future!
Damn, it seems like he can't shake his demons.
Why in the world would Plax, who played his game in New Jersey, and was a NJ resident, owe New York State a dime?
WOW, If they have to pay taxes to NY, just because the teams name is NY Giants that is ridiculous.
You have to pay taxes to every state you play a game in.. you "earned income" in that state, and you owe them money. I spoke to Jim Leyritz once at a fund raiser and specifically asked him this.... He said his accountant handled it but he had to sign his name to tax returns for like 15 states..
Unless the Giants are incorporated in NY or something.. There is also a non resident NYC tax that all people who work in NYC but live elsewhere pay.. i think its called the 822 tax or something. ... I wish Plax would fight it...
regardless of what current laws are for taxes he made the decsion to avoid them....
dumbass.....plain and simple
Measure Twice......Cut Once"
On a different note...I don't understand why the Jets just don't sign him. They have butt-kiss at receiver and Plax is familiar with the team and coaches.
Anyway don't care what they do either way.
