Pros and cons for each. Just curious what everyone else has to say on the subject.

Metlife is miles better, but I sit downstairs.

Metlife is nice, new etc. but I think I would have preferred an update to Giants stadium instead of knocking it down. Yes, there was a ****ty scoreboard screen that was small compared to today's standards, but fixable. Also, I'm sad that future generations of Giants fan will never be able to partake in the half-time ritual of getting a spot on one of the spirals either dropping money down the center to see who was daring enough to grab it and most of the time get caught and kicked out or the ol' golf ball bouncing. The Jets I hear were more into womanizing on those spirals. Also, it was a lot more sheltered from the weather - though it was a bit of a tight hall way to move around. I loved how quickly you could get to your seats, taking the appropriate escalator which always seemed to have a lump somewhere halfway up that would test your sobriety after the game. I detest having to take two escalators and walk around each time to get on the next one, to get to my seat. I DO like the variety and great number of concession stands and having that outdoor plaza. I'll update later when I think of more dislikes/likes.

I'd like to know when they are going to finish the outside of the new stadium. My psl money wasn't spent very well imo.

Having sat in the upper deck each time, I really miss the express escalator and the spirals.

I've had season tickets in my family since I was born. My tickets at Giants Stadium were in lower tier, but I sat in the upper tier too. At Metlife, my seats are now in Terrace 1 because there was no chance I was paying the PSL and tickets price for similar seats in the new stadium. The Terrace level at Metlife is no better than the upper tier at Giants Stadium. There are better food options and a wider concourse, but the seats and aisles are smaller. The view feels much farther away than GS. The bathroom lines are longer at halftime, getting to your seats from the escalator is a pain, and unless you take the stairs, exiting is a nightmare. I pretty much hate Metlife, but to be fair I'm bitter being forced to crappier seats and paying a PSL.

Edit: One other thing too. It's a completely different atmosphere and crowd at Metlife. Rarely is it ever very loud like it would get at GS. At GS, I saw the same faces around me for 30 years. At Metlife, the faces change every week and I see a lot more visiting jerseys.

Metlife is just an awfully designed stadium. It looks bland and the psl deal is bogus. As far as I'm concerned, they dropped the ball with MetLife..

Old. New place the traffic getting out is worse, takes forever to get your seats once in stadium, place is very average
