    Marvin Austin " little setback"

    Per Vachianno Twitter and Rotoworld:

Giants DT Marvin Austin (back) "had a little setback," and it's "not clear when he can go."
The injury-prone second-year pro now almost certainly won't be ready for the start of the regular season. The "little setback" figures to intensify the Giants' search for veteran line help. Whenever Austin finally takes the field, it will be his first live non-preseason action since December 26, 2009, when he was still at North Carolina.

I would say his 53 man roster spot COULD be in Jeopardy now

Doubt he will be cut and I also doubt they will pickup a veteran.

Hard to say. You have Kuhn, Hendricks and Marcus Thomas ready to step in.

Football has been very, very good to us.
In the midst of this losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

I agree. I think we should keep 5 DTs especially if Canty starts the season on the PUP. I would be confident with Bernard and Linval as our starters, with Hendricks, Thomas and/or possibly Kuhn(maybe PS) coming off the bench. Im not saying Austin should be or will be cut, but his career has not started off on a good note. These back issues could linger and flare up at any time.
One day, not today, not tomorrow, not this season, probably not next season either but one day, you and I are gonna wake up and suddenly we're gonna be like every other team in every other sport where winning is everything and nothing else matters. And when that day comes, well thats, thats when we'll honor them--Jack Lengyel Marshall University

    What's his injury?

Oh and Kuhn is not making the PS... he would be snatched in a heartbeat. Did you see him against the bears starters yesterday? Yea, so did all the other GM's.
    ALL IN!!!!!!!!

    I'm ALL IN are you?

Austin is not going to get cut unless there is something we don't know about going on(character issues, etc.).

"a little setback" and "not clear when he can go" do not equate.
No one remembers who came in second.
