So as you saw last night as I've been saying all along Jacobs is NOT the problem it was the futility of the O-line

Jacobs has plenty left in the tank.. where are all the Ron Dayne critics? Jack you lurking?

Everyone still want Jacobs gone next year? Guy is the heart & soul of our offense when he's in there. Just as he did in the packers game & Patriots game he was running through everyone... he plowed through 3 defenders like they were bowling pins.

Cut backs.... did it all..... amazing how good he can look with a proper hole

Jacobs ran great last night no doubt, but come on we need more than 3 games a year like that!

Either Jacobs is intentionally dogging it some games and playing when he feels like it or he is auditioning for a team next year when he trys to make a large payday.

if the Jacobs we seen yesterday showed up every game i'd be the first to get him to resign but we can match his production elsewhere.

Sure was.....I'm loving this new o-line, Boothe and Petrus have really created the holes we're accustomed to around here. I would just like Bradshaw to get more involved than Ware but I'm pretty sure it's just injury issues (and curfew ofcourse)....they'll ease him in

It makes no sense you telling people this cause deep deep down they all know thats its cause the O-line sucked is the reason why we haven't been able to run the ball, and that jacobs haven't looked as brusing as he used too.

But they won't admit it cause jacobs hurt their feelings by calling them unappreciative fans that like to Boo. which is what they are honestly.

    IMHO

As with the defense, I think this has been due to several factors.

1 - Petrus is a sparkplug on this line.
2 - Boothe is steady (his snaps, that's another story.
3 - Gilbride is finally playing Jacobs as Jacobs, and not using him like an oversized Bradshaw.
4 - Success breeds confidence. Jacobs is running with more purpose.
5 - Better mix of carries.....Jacobs was being starved, and Bradshaw was being treated like OJ Simpson. Just dumb.

It's kind of hard to open holes for a guy who is 6'4'' 265. If they couldn't open them for bradshaw there is no way they could for Jacobs. New Oline shuffle seemed to work well.

Jacobs goes as the Oline goes. He isnt a creator, he is a guy that needs the line to get him to the 2nd level where he does his dmg.

Yesterday, our oline played their best game of the year. Its that simple.
