    Corey Webster's broken bone

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Giants cornerback Corey Webster played in the second half of Thursday night’s 36-7 victory over the Panthers with a hard cast on his right hand after breaking his hand during the game.

Webster said he wasn’t sure when the injury happened. He got into a wrestling match with Panthers receiver Steve Smith during the game and Webster said he was unsure if that is when he hurt his hand.

The Giants have 10 days until they play again and Webster said he doesn’t expect to miss any time.

Are we sure about this? Sometimes injuries like this can be more serious then they seem. I know he went out there and played the rest of the game, but sometimes its just pure adrenaline that gets a guy out there after an injury.

Dude, are you serious? Webster broke his hand? I know some people on here have been down on him but if he misses any extended period of time the Giants are in big trouble...

He said he can play next week. Broken hands aren't the end of the world for DB's. James Butler played the entire '07 season with a broken arm.

what was the result of the XRay taken on Rolles laceratied knee
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

Unknown at this time. However it doesn't make a difference. If the guy can walk he will be out there. Played last year with torn rotator cuff tears in each shoulder and never missed any time. The guy is a warrior. He will be out there no matter what

Relax! We do not know the extent of the break, if its a hair line or full exposed skin break.

Just saw it. It was negative. He said there would be more tests today but wasn't sure if an MRI would be one of them. Overall the injury was not as serious as first thought. Also Hosley left in 4th quarter after getting his jersey jerked and pulled a hamstring muscle. Didn't realize he was hurt to, but they don't think it's serious. Cweb says he will play vs eagles

Webster will prolly play against the Eagles. As long as they can keep it secured with a cast so it doest get worse he'll be able to play, just don't expect him to be able to intercept anything.
All Hail The New York Giants!!
