Has anyone else timed this. Wow if this is right no sense just get red zone only.
the average amount of time the ball is in play on the field during an NFL game is about 11 minutes.

You just figured this out now?
Time a baseball game some day ... it's even worse.
Football—at least the American version—is the rare sport where it's common for the clock to run for long periods of time while nothing is happening. Ummm, has the guy who wrote that ever watched soccer? The clock NEVER tops there...
11 minutes....I thought it was like 6 minutes...lol
Measure Twice......Cut Once"
I'm sure golf would be the worst.
I like the breaks in NFL. It adds to the emotional ride when you're sweating out each 30 second segment.
Well, I think they should include the time spent at the line of scrimmage before the ball is snapped. That's a pretty important moment there. I like watching the quick chess match going on there between the offense and defense. Defenses doing their best to disguise their coverage/plan and the QB analyzing and deciphering what they're about to do and audibling into a different play if he needs to. It's one of my favorite parts of the game.
and i will do it again Sunday night starting at 830.. hope we get the better of the 11 minutes
