Just my opinion but I do think starting your own message board for such things would be the best avenue. The benefits of being able to have a more open atmosphere in regards to rules (though it has to be strict here for good reasons) and then also having the freedom of who you allow in such a place is tremendous. The way I see it, you could have you and 5 of your pals and perhaps when you get a good vibe from someone on these boards, you could invite them to take a look at yours as well.
