Who is he overrated by? Obviously not the fans. He is ripped apart here more than any other player. The whole defense played undisciplined football last week, but only one name keeps coming up here. Tuck has been in a coma all season, if anything he is more overrated than Osi. It is pretty clear around here that nobody likes Osi. And I don't here the media hyping him either. So overrated? tuck actually had a decent game vs philly. dont even try turning this into "woe is osi, we're all unfair" situation. guy should keep his mouth shut especially when he sucks balls vs the run. dont want richardson running at osi all game bc that'd mean they'd run well...u think richardson wont "come take the candy" or whatever horrible analogy he used? well then let ur play do the talking, not ur mouth
All DE's sucked in philly, don't know what game you watched, but it resonated with all of them in there interviews. One said he sucked the other said he's not happy,don't really care to ***** and moan about what people say, cause game time talking is done on the field. Maybe this is the game where Osi stops the run, JPP gets back to being destructive, Tuck gets more penetration. I personally have no problem with Osi responding... not initiating the trash talk with Richardson, if he feels he can do something about it. Like another poster said, it is certainly better than the defeatis quotes from the other DE and or possibly depending on perspective DE's.

Wasn't onboard last year. I still maintain that even when his sacks are up there, they are negated overall
by his end around runs well behind the play that ultimately allow runs or screens to go for big yardage.

remember that cowboys game a few years ago where they had like 3 huge TD plays on screens past osi...ugh. i hate when teams gameplan on exposing his uphill pass rush, but one thing, osi hasnt actually been that bad in that regard. he isnt really doing his take off upfield past the play bit, its more that he's just playing soft, not keeping contain, and taking horrible angles

Now while indirect a player can only take that as an insult, cuase it is an insult, to the DE's and the LB's. At least that's how I would of taken it while I was playing, if a rival player said something similar. Maybe I am wrong, maybe its nothing; but I can understand the feeling that, what was said was a subtle jab to the play of the D-Line or Linebackers.
