    Predictions

Alright, let's hear it. Predictions for our game against the Niners this weekend. Try to tuck your inner homers away as much as possible. We want honest predictions.

As much as I want to win this game, I really don't see how. The Niners offense is much improved, while our defense is arguably worse, most notably in the secondary. Our offense is up there, but their defense is just ridiculous. I want a win just as much as the next guy, but I see the Niners winning this one. Big.

    Niners - 36
    Giants - 16

Here's hoping I'm wrong. Because everytime I get this feeling of the Giants having no chance, they do the unthinkable.

I predict a shootout. The score is basically up in the air... A weaker 49ers offense vs a weaker giants defense is a push pretty much, while a stronger giants offence vs a stronger 49ers defense is also a push.

I'm sorry, but how is the Niners offense weaker? They are much improved. They actually have receivers now, and Alex Smith is playing like an actual QB rather than a game manager. And their backfield is still loaded, as it always was.

I'm saying they're weaker than the giants offense...

In before the OP gets dragged through the mud for a controversial opinion.

    I think it will be...

    49ers 23
    Giants 17

Like last year, this will be a bearable loss that will make the team feel confident and we will win the next two games against the Redskins and Cowboys.

To be honest, while I think this game will be high scoring, it might actually come down to whether or not Wilson can return a kick to the house... As in all epic matches vs two strong teams, it could come down to ST to decide the game.

    just like last time
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!
