I didn't catch much of the game. I watched the Yankees instead yesterday (silly me). But I heard that we were using him at free safety again. He's been playing a lot of SS before this. If this is the case then it seems to have worked out well.

Well, depends how you define free or strong, but both his picks he was playing left safety.
Generally that is the strong side of the field, but Rolle then would have been playing free safety most of this season.
Whatever its called, he was playing on the opposite side of the field than he usually plays.

Giants have eliminated the free and strong designations. KP and Rolle are interchangeable. I've seen Brown doing both as well which is a surprise.

I don'thave a clue except to say he was where we needed him to be at least twice. Yes, he messed up on that one Moss pass, but otherwise
