Ahmad Bradshaw became just the second running back to reach the century mark in yards over the past 44 games against the 49ers. He finished with 27 carries for 116 yards, 93 of which came in the second half. That included a 13-play, fourth-quarter drive – all on the ground — that took 7:10 off the clock and produced five first downs, resulting in a Lawrence Tynes field goal. The offensive line was as physical as it was technically sound for the second consecutive week. OL David Diehl returned after missing three games.
LT Will Beatty was tremendous again in protecting Eli Manning’s blind side, while theline as a whole was dominant. The Giants have not allowed a sack in three straight games. Hakeem Nicks (three catches, 44 yards) will need time to round into his potential All-Pro form, but his presence allowed for some other things. Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride used four-WR sets (Nicks, Victor Cruz, Domenik Hixon and Ramses Barden) and was able to expose the 49ers’ secondary for several big plays, including Hixon’s circus 39-yard reception that led to the Manning-to-Cruz score in the second quarter."
