Kevin Gilbride thanks Jim Harbaugh for statement

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...-for-statement

    Excerpt: "
New York Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride got the last laugh.

After San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh released a statement last week ripping Gilbride for his comments about 49ers defensive lineman Justin Smith, Gilbride's offensive line absolutely dominated against San Francisco in a 26-3 victory.

Gilbride admitted he was "shocked" by the response from Harbaugh."I have great respect for their front, and I have unbelievable respect for the guy (Smith), tremendous," Gilbride told the New York Daily News on Sunday. "But it (defensive holding) is something he does. He reaches out and grabs people. ..."I thought it was just in a litany of compliments. ... all of a sudden, (Harbaugh) turned it into a negative thing. ... It was great. All of a sudden, now everybody in the country saw it. It worked well." Read more...

    agreed

Harbaugh is a great coach and a great football guy ...but a horrible professional

his emotions are constantly on his sleeve and he often comes off like a child who had his toy taken from him

Oh Gilbride....I feel like all these super bowl rings and offensive successes are just encouraging him. I don't know how we can fire him now :P

ZERO quality wins the last 2 seasons. Major changes are needed.
