    NEW YORK KNICKS 2012-2013 THREAD

This is where we'll follow our knicks and discuss our knicks..

Knicks have added Marcus Camby, Jason Kidd, Pablo Prigioni, Ronnie Brewer, Raymond Felton to the team.. This team better make a push to be a top 3seed in the east, as they seem to be loaded..

Early in the pre-season, they look great.. Novak has looked good, as has Melo and Ty Chandler... Kidd is getting acclimated with the new roster, and Felton has been impressive finding the new teammates, and old ones(from when he was here before)

Chris Copeland looks to be the possible find from the undrafted ranks..

ok, can you more knowledgeable NBA fans tell me why signing a nursing home crew of old players is gonna make us that much better than last year

    Camby, Thomas, Kidd, Wallace

they make me think of Jello and Bingo

man, Thomas played with Ewing and not just for 1 or 2 seasons, several seasons !! ... he's almost as old as me !

Ya, but u forgot to mention Raymond Felton is our starter with Kidd as his backup... Thats a sweet 1/2 punch at the PG positon, with longtime international player Prigioni as our 3rd PG.. Pretty much all pass 1st pg's..

Also u forgot to mention that Camby is backing up Chandler.. I mean, u can't get a better backup then Camby for Chandler.. The defense were gonna get from the middle is insane!

Also we added Ronnie Brewer for defense on the outside, and Kurt Thomas can still rebound and hit the mid range jumper..

JR Smith being here for a full season is only gonna help as well..

I love the look of this team.. That Copeland kid went off for 34points the other day.. His 2nd monster game in the pre-season.. He was hitting 3's...

Camby can still play man. He was the top rebounder in the NBA per minute. Having him to back up Chandler is huge for the Knicks defense.Kidd is probably an overrated signing from the terms of name to production . Probably wouldnt of come here if he knew Lin wasnt being resigned.Still the money isnt bad.Thomas we got stuck with in thwe Felton trade that we got screwed over on. Wallace might not make the team

Kidd coming here is more of a mentor/veteran PG move. Prigioni looks like he will be taking a lot of those minutes off the bench. The guy passes flawlessly and is the definition of a true PG. Wallace will be here, Woodson loves him and he just needs to get back into shape, especially if Tyson and Amare are out for a conisderable amount of time.

It's all about now for the Knicks. Lets see what happens 40 years after our last ring...

Maybe James Dolan is giving out free viagra to these fossils as well. I like some of the knicks players (Anthony, Shumpert, Chandler, and Novak), but in my opinion, they are not a better team than they were last season. They just got older.

This post just looks more stupid with every passing day? How did u not understand the logic of having such a deep roster, older guy were gonna be role players and not overly worked, need to be out there every second players? They got a deep roster, and still haven't even used Camby much, or STAT or Shumpert yet..

    Good post, buddy!!!lol

    Also Rasheed Wallace was added
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

I have high hopes this season. The bad thing is those hopes will probably get crushed.
