Could have used J Williams today

Boley looked slow in coverage and of course Rivers got hurt.

Thought the same thing during the game as the catches and yards piled up - they had no answer for covering Witten. Boley was flat out awful, and Fewell's Coe/other experimental solution was even more horrific.

And frankly, Hosley for all of his early season flashes looked like an overmatched rookie out there today. He was a liability.

Rivers got hurt. what else is new. and with Chase out with a hammy we are now very thin there
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

I would love to see Herzlich in there more if Chase is hurt. He has a knack for making big tackles and causing turnovers with the way he plays. Hasn't had a ton of chances yet at this level but even today he caused the fumble on special teams.

Williams would've matched up the best with Witten however, he's usually our answer to pass catching TE's. It would've only slowed him down a little though, the guy was unstoppable today.
