    Dallas/Giants Observations

    1. Boy do we need a linebacker who can cover the tight end!
    2. I can't tell if Dallas played good defense or if our O-line had an off day. Gotta watch the rewind.
    3. Defense kept us rolling in the first half but we gotta get the ball in for 6!!! Way too many FG's.
    4. Tines is en fuego, thankfully!
    5. We didn't go over the middle a whole heck of a lot on offense today. Most of the passes were to the sideline.
    6. Eli is hanging in there but looks like he's fighting through something... maybe we were spoiled with Manningham completing our receiver corps.

If you think about it, we do this even in the Super Bowl years. We struggle in games where you'd like to think we should have the killer instinct and dominate.

Oh, well... we're still in first place and hopefully will do what we've always done before... get in sync at the right time of the year.

We're escaping with two divisional wins... phew!!!
Die-hard Giants fan since the early 60's!

    1. Boy do we need a linebacker who can cover the tight end! - we have one - his name is jwill and he is hurt.

    2. I can't tell if Dallas played good defense or if our O-line had an off day. Gotta watch the rewind. - dallas has one of the best d's in the league this year.

    3. Defense kept us rolling in the first half but we gotta get the ball in for 6!!! Way too many FG's. - yep gotta do better in with such short fields - but back to number 2.

    4. Tines is en fuego, thankfully! - he has been great - but not many kicks over 45 at all.

    5. We didn't go over the middle a whole heck of a lot on offense today. Most of the passes were to the sideline.
Not sure this was an issue - nicks on the post late a was a nice play over the middle - but the offense as a hole was not great.

    6. Eli is hanging in there but looks like he's fighting through something... maybe we were spoiled with Manningham completing our receiver corps.
As in hurt? cause that is not the case - receivers have been great - backups have been great - randle had some nice plays today and hixon has helped all year - not a great day today - but not sure why youd worry when for the most part they have been very very good.

6-2 doesnt seem like that much of a struggle - this league is tough - wins are what matters.

Yes the G'men really missed J Will today but man we should have been able to do a better job against the Dallas TE Corps. Our O looked out of sinc, there were a few key drops there. I give Dallas's D Line for bringing the pressure, think Baas is week in the middle (ankle certainly didn't help) as Ratliff beat him up pretty badly. No serious run threat either...
