What happens when the offense gets the ball in the end zone?

Does anyone know what happens in this circumstance? I've heard rumors you get twice as many points as a field goal and then you can get an additional point with your kicker or go for 2.

The only shot we've taken in the endzone was probably for the sake of stopping the clock. Prior to that we dialed up passing plays that had Nicks and Cruz avoid the endzone.

Jake Ballard is gone, Ballard was our best redzone option and always had a knack of getting the ball in there. Bennett just looks lost out there and never gives us a legitimate target in the redzone.
