this should be played over and over again for jpp and Osi and the rest of the defense to get the idea of what Giant football looks like! awesome! really miss the LT type of play!

I'm all for big defense, but why the 3-4? We were able to get it done last year with JPP and pre-decline Tuck. Maybe i'm unable to get nostalgic at the 1980s because my first memories of the Giants were in 1994 when i was 6 years old, but I still love seeing the big plays no matter who makes them.
I think linebackers are more versatile, and I like the flexibility the 3-4 gives with respect to rushing the passer, stopping the run, and taking away short underneath routes.
I think a 4-3 is much more of a feast or famine alignment.
Again, that's just my opinion.....and alot of it is colored by watching guys like Van Pelt, Kelly, Carson, Taylor, Banks, and Reasons just destroy offenses.
Back in the day, teams simply could not run on the Giants. Seriously, they couldn't. And they had a hard time passing against them as well. Watching that defense was truly a pleasure.
But I understand the Giants couldn't go 3-4 with the players they have now....it would require a big retooling, and that's not in the cards.

"Landry built the 4-3 defense around me. It revolutionized defense and opened the door for all the variations of zones and man-to-man coverage, which are used in conjunction with it today." —Sam Huff
