we need to be more explosive for sure, we have the most boring offense compared to other teams, yes it gets a little exciting when cruz makes a big play, but there's been few of those this year.
Wilson is "still" an emotional rookie who has not improved as much as he shouldve compared to his draft position!
that fumble in the 1st game of the season is still a factor in his mind imo! that incident stunted his progress in this offense to this point!
im sure hes heavily drilled with tons of information. maybe that information has taken to this point to sink in!
i expect he will be a positive factor in our next 6 games! we need 'em to be ready for some explosion.
I don't know. I read this as a frustrated kid who wants to contribute to the team and just hasn't been able to. Probably one reason he tries to return every kick-off. He wants to break one the distance, or at least run one a long way to give our offense a good chance at a "field goal." (Sorry... I had to). As far as the designed plays go, I can't say that does anything for him or the team. If he comes in and gets the ball one way or another, vertually every time, how does that play have a fair chance to succeed? The guys on the other teams are pretty good ball players. If they know he will touch it one way or another, the chances of that play gaining any reasonable yardage is greatly decreased. I agree though, I don't think the comments helped any. He may have just put himself under the dog house rather than just in it.

I feel bad. I read this and think, Damn, I was kinda hoping he'd sit a few games at least. How bad is that? Our statring RB is not as beat up as I thought and I'm not happy about it. Makes me feel like a jerk. I wasn't thinking it in a malicious way.
Does anyone know how much practice time Wilson gets during the week being that Bradshaw has been not doing any practice for some time. Wilson is considered the third back so he should be getting quite a few snaps.It seems to me the coaches do not like what they see him doing in practice and are not going to give him much playing time till they do.
What makes people think he should play more and please don't say because he was a first round pick?

Because Ahmad Bradshaw is injured and we need a more consistent run game. I'm not saying he should be the number one, but him and Andre should split carries.

Its still in his mind because TC put it there. He did by benching him essentially now for 10 games.
"If you fumble once you sit for multiple games" is an attitude that takes all the playmaking instincts from a young player.
