Agreed. He caught a gimmie with his chest. He isn't setting the world on fire with his performances in San Fran. They overpaid for a third string WR and are getting 4th string production. He is under utilized at San Fran, so this magical starting role he was looking for, he hasn't found it. Should have stayed with the champs and he would be fairing much better. Jacobs and manningham both ran for the money, both are bust on the niners.
last year mario manningham wasnt on the same page with eli for the majority of the season. He missed 4 games and his production dropped off a lot.
Right now as bad as hixon is playing he is on pace to having a better season than manningham had last year.
Again. Are you overrating because you saw manningham catch a pass?
