It sad isn't it....smh. Giants fans are so worried about being an un-baised fan that they just rip Eli like everyone else does. I can care less what other fans think or the media but our own fans??? I've seen people stick up for RG3 on this board more then I have ever seen them stick up for Eli. Pretty pathetic....

He is playing average this year, because he is elite one game and bad the next. Last year he was the reason they won a superbowl, no matter what people think. It was all on his shoulders and he delivered. His 1,219 yards is an NFL record for a single postseason, and his 9TDs to 1 INT is pretty damn good as well. Im not sure many other QBs can do that in the postseason against the best teams in the NFL. Average he is not.

Fair enough, you raise a good point. Maybe 'average' wasn't the right word. I wouldn't have taken 15-16 QBs over Eli any of those years, for sure.

So are you caught in the position on your fans boards where you are constantly defending Romo? You are always advocating him on here, which I gotta say, I admire. Most Giants fans I see on rival fans boards trash our QB more than they do....

I've advocated him in the past, but to me it seems he's on the decline so I've held off on defending him lately. Overall I try to keep it as real as possible with Romo, or the Cowboys in general for that matter, whether that means criticizing him or supporting him.

I'll defend him when the criticisms are outrageous or just plain inaccurate, and I'll weather absurd claims when some homer tries to compare him with Brees or in one case even Eli.
