"At times this season, the New YorkGiants have seemed like world beaters. They went into San Francisco and demolished the 49ers. Last Sunday, they embarrassed the Green Bay Packers on national television. However, in between those games, the team has been anything but consistent – showing both their best and their absolute worst. It's something linebacker Chase Blackburn hopes they get under control as there's no real ceiling for this team.
"The sky is the limit for us," Blackburn told NFL AM. "We have to play within ourselves, but also play at a higher level."
It's a common feeling amongst the Giants – namely Antrel Rolle – that this group is a far more talented group than the one that won Super Bowl XLVI. However, inconsistency has plagued them all season and prevented them from being in the position they probably should be in entering week 13. Instead, they find themselves in what they refer to as a "six game schedule" (now 1-0) that has tremendous ramifications. So much so that both the players and coaches feel they need to win out."
