The second half should have started with them having at least a two score lead and getting the kickoff.
Again....you are confused. The point was NEVER that we lost the game because the defense couldn't stop them. The point was controlling TOP was our gameplan BECAUSE we couldn't stop them. Poor execution of the gameplan by the offense was why we lost.

Fundamentals, Execution and Direction! We had none last night.
One field goal prevents RGIII from walking on water this morning.

Well that's the game plan for just about every game no? Control the clock and have your defense stay fresh so they can stop the opponent and give the ball back to he offense. This is nothing new because of RG3.

sigh.......This was the Giants gameplan because of Griffen. We threw the ball 11 times in the second half...what other teams does that happen against?. Not to mention, all you had to do was watch the game to see that we couldn't stop them. Had they had more chances with the ball, (unless it was because we were throwing the ball for touchdowns) the game isn't as close as it ended.

In the first half they where stopping hem and heading the ball to the offense that in turn kicked field goals. TOP is a useless stat unless you score points. He defense was nearly as bad as you make it seem to be.

No....you are as stubborn and wrong as you've always been. The defense was pretty bad.

No **** TOP is useless when you don't score (as that was my exact point from the OP) but TOP kept it close. Poor execution by the offense lost it.

Just because you held them to 17 points does not mean your defense is in the clear.

    Please support.

The defense allowed maybe the hottest offense in the league a whopping 17 points, 1 TD was a fluke, at home in the biggest game for them in a long time. No, the defense did not play as bad as yo think and yes they where effective at stopping the offense in the first half and even forced a turnover in the second half to hauls a a scoring drive.

disagree , players did a good job and did not turn the ball over. the play calling and coaching was the main problem last night.
