Which is really hilarious whenever we play the packers, because there's enough GB fans in NJ (and conversely enough GIants fans make it to Lambeau) that the CRUUUUUZ chants get mixed up with the KUUUUUHN chants.

Generally its considered running up the score by kicking FG's in those situations. Its considered better sportsmanship to run offensive plays on 4th down there. Its not really "going for it on 4th down" as much as it is not adding points to run up the score.TC did the right thing.

agreed. Kicking there and adding 3pts to get over 40 was just not needed at that point. Like you said running it into the middle of the line in that situation is the most sportsmanlike thing you can do at that point outside of just taking a knee on 4th down and just turn ball over to them. If we had gotten first down that's what TC would have done

You sure about that? Didn't Coughlin go for it on 4th down in the red zone when we could've kicked a chip shot field goal to put us over 40 points?We didn't get the first down either, I was agitated because I wanted to see us above 40, and a field goal would have been fine.

would of been nice to hit 41 for the third time this season but no more points were needed thus run it into middle of line. Nothing fancy or tricky...

I grew up in the New Orleans area. If I remember correctly, the chant began in the mid 80's. The whole chant is even more nauseating ...
