If that happens, I'd think that we'd put a claim in for him, but so might some other teams.
I am hoping that Jacobs was being a CANCER just to get back to a team that respects him

true statement for most of us and I fit that description...but one thing he brought, one intangible was fire.

this guy hates the Cowboys for example and he always seemed to bring a little extra something whenever we played those idiots.

a tear ran down my cheek when he cracked the dallas star after scoring a rushing TD...pure bliss

that's what my nostalgia comes from, Brandon's fiery sometimes misplaced and petulant, undiluted passion.

If the Giants were to re-sign Brandon Jacobs he would be huge for us in the redzone.

Anyone see the interview after the super bowl with him?

He was still angry and yelling about respect moments after winning the super bowl, now do I want him to come here and start? no but any team could use that kind of passion (just not the 9ers) lol.

I'll take Jacobs back in a heart beat. One of my favorite players, and was bummed when we didn't resign him this off-season. It was a wise business move to release him, but he was a great Giant. I think he still has some gas left in the tank, and a motivated Jacobs is trouble for defenders.

    Come back home Big Man!!!

He is not eligable for waiver because he was suspended and not cut.
