    Thoughts on Coe?

Not really smack talk, but I don't know where I should place this thread.

The Cowboys just dropped Agnew and signed ex Giants CB Michael Coe. What's the scouting report on this guy? Can he be useful?

He can be useful, but I suspect this signing had more to do with his knowledge of the giants defense than anything. He was forced to start against the Cowboys in week 1 this year, and Ogletree had a really good showing as a result.

Ogletree got the best of Webster a few times too.

I think they signed him for depth reasons. We're banged up in the secondary and may have to have Carr play safety a bit. Jenkins may be the only healthy corner this weekend since Scandrick is on IR and Claiborne may be concussed.

Is he good in zone or man? Press coverage?

Probably better off in the General Sports section, but in terms of Coe.. think he was mostly signed because of the banged up secondary as well. I think Coe was better in the man, but he did get burned from time to time. Just needs time adjusting to calls.

I never saw him in press coverage, but that's because he was never used in press coverage. PF seems to hate putting people in press situations...
