    Will Hill: The Secret Weapon

I was impressed with this guy thru camp and the preseason. His potential showed early on and after learning about his playing days in college, I was enthusiastic, hoping his second chance proves that his past knucklehead behavior is a no-no going forward. Then the suspension came. At first I was like oh well, there goes your opportunity, but it was accidental usage of a banned substance. Eh, no big deal, we got Sash back that week.

JR gets much deserved praise for finding quality guys to fill roles with this franchise. I feel that this pick was a high value guy that may be an important piece for the team in the next few weeks. Stevie Brown played exceptional as KP's replacement, but Will Hill has played pretty damn good himself when out there. Along with Sash, the safety position is looking real bright for big blue.

Keep an eye out for this guy because he is the secret weapon on the 'D.

Talent was never an issue with him. He is great athlete. He has looked good when he has gotten the chance this season. They will need him this weekend with he possibility of KP and Prince not playing.

I agree 100 percent with you on this post but Sash is nothing but a ST player. He doesn't impress me at all and someone will take his spot this year or next year and eventually he will be cut. He just doesnt make enough plays to stand out. Hill on the other hand does good against the run coverage we really havent seen that much but he has such great upside. I believe we wont resign KP with the young guys stepping up which is not a bad problem to have in this cap space era of the nfl.

I think Hill is a good talent on the way up. I haven't been too impressed with Sash except on ST. I don't want KP getting away. I think that would be a mistake. I definitely hope Hill steps up this week. We are really hurting back there. D-line has to help.

Don't give up on Sash too quickly, remember he got suspended for the first 4 games and when he did come back, Stevie Brown decided to play like some sadistic ball hawk. Blame that turnover magnet Stevie Brown, lol. It's tough to follow up a performance like the one he has been having.

The few times I have noticed Sash out there, He seemed to have been out of position or not sure what he was doing. I'm not closing the door on the guy. just saying I haven't seen much to hang a hat on, other than ST. I always pull for Giant players to step up. I hope Sash does as well.

Sash seems very average to me. Hill on the otherhand has already shown some flashes that make a fan excited. Time will tell.
