Cruz was Jack's favorite player, and the little boy was laid to rest in a No. 80 Giants jersey bearing Cruz's name.
Cruz's gesture Tuesday -- on top of the phone call he made to the Pinto family Saturday night, and his tribute to Jack on his gloves and cleats in Sunday's game -- made Coughlin swell with pride.
